Just when you accept the fact that the tired, hurting, worn out feeling is going to last forever; someone comes along and says 'you look like you're ready to have a baby.' It suddenly occurs to you that there will come a time (in the near future even) when you'll be able to move again, think again, sleep again, even breathe again. It's an incredibly surreal feeling. Then it hits you that having a baby, means having a baby - there's going to be a tiny little thing depending on you for survival, comfort, food... Even more surreal. It's a tiring process to care for a little one. Maybe the sleep will have to wait, maybe the pain will move places, maybe thinking will depend more on the time of day and how much sleep you got instead of how your body's feeling...
Oh well. At least in a few days you'll know for sure and it's not like there's much of a choice of how or when it all happens at this point.
