I need to steal some pictures from my mom. We hid all the eggs and bags that Mom Schofield sent over and we told everyone that they had 5 eggs and 1 bag to go find, but pretty much it was all Shelly. I'm pretty sure it turned out more like 1 egg for everyone else and 36 for Shelly (apparently the bags were harder to find and most people got their own). She finally caught on how to look for and find eggs. We had gone to a ward party earlier that week, and she was a little slow on the up-take, but by Sunday she had caught on rather well, and it was quite entertaining to watch. Jason was taking a nap, so he missed out on the fun.
Then on Monday we opened the balls that came with the eggs (there are usually small treats that go with Easter in the Schofield family - they put numbers in the eggs, and then whoever finds a number gets to pick a prize from the pile) and Shelly had fun letting Katie and me throw balls at her (not 'to her' - 'at her') She would retrieve the balls and then run a few steps away and turn and wait for us to pelt her. She found it quite entertaining. So did we, as long as we're being honest.
