Missing the Outdoors

It has been a boring few months here with the kids largely stuck inside and with me not feeling super well and rather unable to be much entertainment for them. At the first sign of sun, the kids jumped at the chance to go outside, even it meant wearing jackets (it was barely in the 50's)

We started off with a walk down the lane by our house

Love those crooked piggy tails

Toto came along - he likes to follow us on walks

It really was a beautiful day, even if it was rather cold

Then we went to Grandma's later in the day

The kids love that grape arbor

And all the sand and toys in the grape arbor

I have no idea how Jason is out there without a jacket! He must be a warm blooded boy...

Then we went home and made brownies!

And of course, the kids wanted to lick the bowl

They made a mess of themselves!

At least they thought it was tasty
